PTO Meeting Minutes
2/4/10
In Attendance: Janet Moses, Martha Maye, Zakia Hamiroune, Karen Stone, Trish Martin


1. Sledding Event

Rescheduled for March 6, 2010. Donna N. will still be in charge of the event. Need to confirm it’s ok with Kathy Nelson. Will reuse posters made in the after school program.

2. Toddler Activity
Donna N. is going to set up a date (not on 3/13/10).

3. Silent Auction
Donation forms are ready to go. 
Looking for donations.
Class projects: Janet is going to talk to Stacy about them. Is there money in silent auction budget for supplies for the projects?

4. PTO Pizza
No more add ons/changes to orders after March 1st. Discussed having the cut off be MUCH earlier next year – 10/1.
Need a volunteer to be in charge of scheduling now that Judi King had to step down.

5. Teacher Appreciation
Next one scheduled for April 16, 2010.
Zakia is going to take a parent survey of what they are willing to provide for the April event.  The plan is to have a box lunch with dessert for each teacher. With the goal of parents and the PTO each donating a portion of the lunch. 

6. Need to finalize end of year social
Ice cream and DJ?
