PTO Meeting Minutes
12/1/09
In Attendance:  Trish Martin, Zakia, Donna Nicolosi, Martha Maye, Eileen Bull



1. Silent Auction – need volunteers to help Stacy Jackson
Donna Nicolosi – class room projects
Janet Moses, Eileen Carlton and Trish Martin will assist as well.


2. Wreath Fundraiser
Discussed ordering wreaths and poinsettias to sell at school. 
Trish will call Wilson Farm in the morning to see if this is still possible.

3. Bake Sale Update
Everything went great. Need to thank all of the volunteers that baked and worked the tables.


4. Student Council/PTO Dance
The Dance was a huge success. Discussed having one in the Spring.

5. Staff Appreciation
Zakia is handling this. Going to have a breakfast the week before Christmas.
Orders from panera bread. 
A budget was set.

6.  At the next meeting, we need to finalize activities for the rest of the year, budget and owners in charge of the activity. 
Some items already identified (with rough budget amounts earmarked):
- Infant room Tea + Preschool events (Need owner).
- Winter sledding event (Need owner).
- 2nd School Dance in May timeframe (Trish owner).
- End of year ice cream social (Need owner).
- Staff appreciation (Zakia owner - WOTY lunch, end of year).
