PTO Meeting Minutes
10/1/09
In Attendance:
Janet Moses, Bonnie Sharum, Linda Linscott, Trish Martin, Zakie Hamiroune, Eileen Bull, Eileen Carlton, Debbie Jolicoeur, Karen Stone, Martha May, Nicole Mason, Donna Nicolosi


1. PTO Pizza
Bonnie gave update
a. Volunteers need to be called and reminded Judy Smith will be calling them.
b. The kindergarten classes will now have their pizza boxed and put on their tables instead of having them come and get it like the upper grades. It was too chaotic for them.


2. Fall Festival Idea…pumpkin/apple picking.  
It was decided that it was too late for this activity and decided to cancel it and move on to the next activity.


3. School Dance
The date for the dance was chosen…November 13, 2009  from  6:30- 8:00 in the great room.
Trish Martin and Eileen Carlton will be working on the dance. They will try and meet with the student council to get their input and ask for help.


4. Teacher Appreciation
Really need to get this done this year. Still need someone to chair this committee.
 
5. Discused the idea of having a yard sale this year. Could be done at graduation time to utilize the tents that would be set up.

6. Bake Sale
Debbie J and Janet M are going to work on this. Nicole Mason would also like to help.

7. Brownies
Decided it would be too much work to get this done and decided not to pursue this year.
