Here are the minutes from our Jan 8th Meeting -

 PTO Pizza is taking orders for the remainder of the school year.  Orders close out on Jan 23.

We did not have a Treasurer’s report at this meeting, but will go over the budget at the next meeting.

The meeting focused on the Winter Social Event, which will be a Sledding Day at Roby Park on Jan 31, from 10-12.  We will also have hot cocoa/cookies and crafts (provided by the PTO) in the Great Room.  

·         Kim is soliciting volunteers. Several PTO parents have offered to help out with the indoor activities, and acting as safety monitors on the hill. The PTO will post flyers in each classroom for sign ups.

·         The PTO will also put together some safety tips such as parents should stay with their children during sledding, sledders should be aware of others coming down the hill, and walk up the hill on the sides of the hill.

Our Spring Social Event is going to be Bowling at Leda Lanes. Deb Jolicoeur is gathering details.  We hope to be able to do glow-bowling.   We will discuss costs and details at the next meeting.

Janet Moses asked the PTO to consider ideas for the Silent Auction. Donna Nicolosi will  sent a note out to interested PTO Room Parents who may want to organize a class project for the auction.  The PTO will also vote on the donation of a PTO Pizza gift certificate for the Silent Auction at our next meeting.

The next meeting will be Feb 12th, 6:15-7pm in the 5/6th Grade classroom.
