Auction and Gala Event 2011

World Academy, in conjunction with the Gordon B. Ouellette Memorial Fund, held the Fourth Annual Silent Auction from May 2nd to May 6th 2011. The auction launched at 8am Monday morning, and built through the week to it's bid-happy conclusion Friday night! Auction items were displayed for view in the World Academy hallways, and online bids were placed via www.biddingforgood.com/worldacademy  Following the Silent Auction conclusion, the first Annual Spring Gala & Live Auction at Nashua's Radisson Hotel was a terrific success and a celebration of our school community that was enjoyed by everyone in attendance!  Nashua's own Bernie Streeter partnered with Paul Levesque of the WWE and auctioned off several choice items - the auction was entertaining to say the least! Meanwhile at World Academy Ms. Lisa and Ms. Caitlin "partied it up" with students of all ages at the first Kids Gala; complete with dancing, buffet appetizers, punch, a photography session and framing project and film viewing! Students at the Kids Gala and adults at the Spring Gala alike were quoted as having had a blast and all cannot wait for next year's Auction and Gala events!
