World Elementary is a private, traditional, co-educational program and is accredited by NEASC and approved by the NH Board of Education. Our curriculum is designed to meet and/or exceed local and national standards to offer your child more learning choices and challenges.
Kindergarten through Grade 6 feature an individualized, anti-biased, character-based curriculum rooted in peace education principles and life skill attainment. The academically challenging and developmentally appropriate approach to our curriculum is seamlessly coordinated from grade to grade in order to maximize each child's potential. Our high academic standards and low student/teacher ratio enables each student to have more opportunities to think and grow, and more hands on comprehensive information about the world. Our curriculum is further enriched with specialized instruction in Technology, World Languages, Art, Music, Chorus and Physical Education.
New for the 2009-2010 school year, The World Schools is pleased to announce that our beautiful campus has expanded to include our Upper Elementary Annex! The Annex offers our older students in Grades 4 to 6 the opportunity to experience a middle school classroom model. This model includes activities such as Student council, school newspaper, peer mediation, advanced technology experiences, writing workshops, public speaking, cooking, intramural sports and study skill classes that are an integral part of the curriculum experience in Grades 4 through 6. Extracurricular activities also include track, ice-skating, sledding and karate. The Upper Elementary Annex will also allow us to continue our pursuit of expanding to offer Grade 7 (2010-2011) and Grade 8 (2011-2012). For more information, please contact us!
